Oculus Virtual Reality Learning

LIS students attending library class with librarian Mrs. Abi Swain are experiencing Oculus Virtual Reality headsets. Students use them by earning points through Imagine Math or by completing Reading Challenges. Some students even used them to practice a virtual UIL chess competition study. Students will also experience specific Geographical environments and experiences in the world. These Oculus headsets allow students experience multisensory integrations of sitting front row at live events, working inside a volcano, participating in the Olympics, flying into outer space, getting a workout, and more. Thank you, Mrs. Swain, for helping your students be future-ready and for helping them experience places they couldn't go otherwise. You're in the right place!
