EGGcellent STEM Lesson

LIS fourth-graders experienced an egg-drop STEM experiment in Mrs. Clara Sanders and Miss Samantha Lopez's Science classes. Student groups were challenged to make a device to protect an egg that would be dropped from 50 feet in the air! After the experiment, students evaluated the condition of their egg, discussing gravity, force, and wind. They wrote about positive devices that worked and told why they were good. Students even gave suggestions that would make broken devices better. Thank you, Mrs. Sanders & Miss Lopez, for an all-inclusive lesson that included STEM and writing activities! Thank you to Sodexo and Randy Taylor for providing the lift for our experiment! You're in the right place!
