As the culminating activity for the LIS 5th-Grade Force and Motion unit, Mrs. Diane De Luna's students were challenged to build a rollercoaster. Students had to complete a roller coaster first with one loop, then with as many loops as possible. This year's winning coaster, built by Bash Bordayo and Johnathan Feddes, tied the all-time record of 8 loops! Thank you, Mrs. DeLuna, for such an engaging lesson that will have students remember what they learned about kinetic energy in a roller coaster!
