Using the E in STEM!

LIS fourth-graders have been studying Native American Tribes and finished up their semester by building dwellings for their tribe. Texas History teachers Mrs. Tate, Mr. Hill, Miss Lopez, and Mrs. Sanders challenged students to use what they learned about Native American Tribes in Texas to build wigwams, hogans, igloos, pueblos, and lodges that would withstand harsh winters, keep them cool in extreme heat, and be large enough to hold multiple families. What a great way to finish the semester! We love fun, engaged learning!
