Force & Motion!

Anticipation grew among the LIS 4th-Graders as they awaited below for Mrs. Sanders to drop their eggs from 100 feet in the air! LIS 4th-graders worked in teams & used their STEM skills to design & create a device to protect a raw egg from breaking when dropped from a great height. Students learned about gravity, force, and acceleration motion in this activity & it was a great opportunity to learn that sometimes plans don’t always work out. Splat! Thank you to Mrs. Sanders, Mrs. Lopez, Mrs. Tate, & Mr. Hill for engaging kids in STEM activities that will impact their future! We send out a special thanks to our LISD Maintenance for helping with this experiment.
