LIS 4th-Graders caught in Mrs. Clara Sanders' science classes learning about mixtures & solutions. A mixture is a combination of 2 or more substances that don't chemically combine - that is, each substance maintains its individual properties. Solutions are homogenous mixtures that have the same chemical ratios with solutes and solvents. This is an in-depth concept because all solutions are mixtures, but not all mixtures are solutions. Mrs. Sanders, there's nothing more exciting than hands-on activities that allow our students to experience learning and remembering!
